Jesus died for your sins at the cross so those who believe in Him can be save. “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). He suffered an emotional and physical death. He was betrayed by Judah, His disciples abandoned Him, He went through 6 trials in 12 hours and though He was innocent He was found guilty by false witnesses. He was spit on, He was punched, mocked and humiliated and He was scourged. They placed a crown of thorns on His head that was pressed in permanently. Then He had to carry a 300lb cross to His death but with a Gentile's help He carried a 100lb cross uphill. This is what Jesus did for you.
